My wife and I debated on how best to insulate our proposed basement TV room. I wanted to foam it all and she wanted to use the traditional fiberglass batts. As in all good marriages we came to a compromise and we decided to spray 1-2" of Foam It Green and then fill the remainder of the stud space with fiberglass. The day after I sprayed the exterior walls and before any other insulation was installed it was amazing how much warmer the space was and it really got us excited about finishing the project. Every time I walk down the stairs I am delighted at how warm the room is and how I cannot even tell a temperature difference between the level above and this new basement living space. I don't even have the heating vents opened up because the space maintains such consistent temperatures now. Don't get me wrong, I was nervous about doing the spray foam myself but the 602 kit contained everything I needed and made it a very easy process. I would easily say it was 10 times easier and faster then I imagined it would be. The instructions along with all the other training information were very helpful, clear and concise. It was amazingly easy and WOW what a difference Foam it Green made.

I now have a fully "sealed" room that maintains a consistent temperature and I don't have to worry about mice making nests in my walls. This product is great and I would recommend it to everyone, Even if you are on a tighter budget and cannot spray 3.5", make the compromised to get a base layer of Foam it Green to create the cocoon for the space. It will make a huge difference.
