The crawl space under my back porch, which is being turned into a half bath, needed to be super insulated. When I built the back porch I made it larger and higher than the old back porch but did not remove the old concrete foundation. The gap over the top of the old foundation is only a foot at the most. The inside wall and 2 ends walls of the new foundation are accessible, with great difficulty, to insulate with styrofoam but the outside wall has a 6 inch gap between it and the old foundation. There was no way for me to get styrofoam into that gap. All of the commercial spray-in insulation foam companies turned me down as being too small a job or too inaccessible for their equipment to reach. By searching the internet I found DIY Foam It Green. Every time I called Foam It Green, and I made frequent calls as I kept thinking of more questions, I was greeted with respect and a friendly manner. I received valuable and correct technical information so that I bought enough Form It Green for the job but not too much product. As I needed to know the surface temperature of what I was coating with foam, the Foam It Green staff even suggested that perhaps I could rent a laser thermometer for that purpose rather than buy that expensive tool.

The Foam It Green kit arrived in a very timely manner so that I was able to take advantage of our last warm and dry day to do the work. Everything that was supposed to be in the box was there, not always the case with some manufacturers.

The instructions were very clear and I need clear instructions! As it is so difficult to get into the crawlspace I needed to know exactly what to do once I was in the crawlspace. The product worked exactly as the instructions and the Form It Green staff said it would. I planned my work flow to make the best use of my time in the cramped work space so as to have no clogged tips, of which I had none. Form It Green was the only product that could insulate the 6 foot long by 6 inch wide space and with proper planning and movement I was able to insulate that space. Form It Green is the only product that could do the job and I am very grateful that the product performed exactly as I was told it would perform.

Foam It Green phone staff are without a doubt excellent and showed great patience with me as I made my repeated phone calls for more information.

The 24/7 technical assistance was one of the highest selling points for me to buy Form It Green. I needed to know that I could received additional help as I was using the product if I needed it. I did not need this help because the phone instructions and written instructions were so excellent. I am always afraid to try a new DIY job but with all the assistance I was given, I felt confident doing the job.

My plumber is very impressed with the insulation job that I was able to do by myself that he has no hesitancy in putting water pipes in the crawl space. I live in Madison, WI and it gets cold here in the winter, I need a very well insulated crawl space. I now have one.
