Recently we added on a 16x18 bedroom addition on pillars to the back of our tiny house. Insulation in the floor was most important to me because it is exposed to a lot of cold temperatures and weather and nobody wants a cold floor in their bedroom.

After plenty of research, I selected Foam It Green based on reputation and cost vs square footage and R value. I received my 602 kit, diligently went through all instructions, did what I was told, and was done spray foaming in 2 hours. In the end, I got exactly what I wanted.

Foam was the right green color and consistency, the application was easier than I though, the coverage came out correct, the cleanup was minimal, and I now have the peace of mind that I made the right decision. Me not having to worry about having regrets later is a great feeling.

The product instruction guide was easy to use, reiterated important points, and covered everything that I would possibly need to know including disposal. The well written and planned instruction guide eased my mind and made me feel confident about my first spray foam experience. I value that.

I had 12" exposed I joists under my addition and knew the importance of sealing and high R value. I used the 602 kit to put a 2 inch barrier under the floor and then covered it up with simple fiberglass insulation(R30). The 2 inch R13 foam layer 100% sealed everything preventing me from ever having a draft. This layer also provided an excellent vapor barrier for me and no need for faced or vapor retardant insulation. And finally, I realized I was able to cover the surface of all of my HVAC ducts with Foam it Green to keep condensation down and keep the hot and cold in. This is definitely a bonus where the HVAC ducts can be exposed to very cold/hot temperatures.

This was my first spray foam experience and I will never have to regret the decision I have made. I am currently saving money monthly, I do not have a cold floor and instead warm feet, I have no drafts at all, and also my HVAC ducts hold the hot or cold air to make my new living space very comfortable. Thank you Foam it Green for a making an easy and cost effective DIY product that really works!!!

From one 602 kit, I now can now comfortably stand in barefeet in our new bedroom addition and look out at the window as snow is falling. It is a great feeling my project was a success.
