Can You Ship Foam it Green Spray Foam When It’s Cold Out?
Brrr… It’s cold outside, and you want to get that insulation project done this weekend so that you stay toasty for the rest of the winter! But you may be wondering, “Is it too cold to ship and use Foam it Green?”
That is a great question, and the answer is absolutely not! We only use carriers who will ensure that your kits arrive in good working order.
Because it’s cold, once they arrive, we do recommend keeping the kits in a warm environment for 24-48 hours before you spray to give them a chance to warm all the way through. (It’s even OK if the carrier has left them on your porch, just be sure to bring them inside once you get home, so they’re not out all night.)
Tip: While you’re waiting for your kits to warm up, shake the tanks every so often to distribute the warmth throughout all of the components.
