Friends Don’t Let Friends Use Big Rigs
If you are reading this, you are likely already a Foam it Green fan, and you know why spray foam is becoming so popular.
Of course, it’s that unique ability to seal air leaks 100%, saving you thousands in bills.
But spray foam is only as good as its installer.
With Fall approaching, it’s time to check and make sure that your home is fully sealed, and while you’re at it, be sure to help spare your friends one of the most common mistakes in insulation: Poor Installation.
Here’s the Big Rig Risk to share with those you care about:
Spray foam contractors sometimes spray unevenly or miss spots, unbeknownst to the homeowner.
Spray foam needs to be applied in a uniform thickness across the surface being sprayed in order to achieve maximum efficiency. Under-insulated spots, and certainly missed spots, will decrease performance.
It can be difficult to tell by looking at a sprayed room whether or not they have left gaps. And because the high pressure rigs disperse unsafe chemicals throughout the structure, you shouldn’t enter the sprayed area for up to 72 hours after the installation is done. So by the time you discover the errors, it may be too late.
This is where doing it yourself with Foam it Green pays off big time. You know it’s even because you sprayed it. And because it’s your house, you didn’t cut corners. This great decision is going to continue paying off for you for a long time to come.

Remember…
Check your own home for gaps that may be in spaces that you haven’t insulated yet. You can easily tighten up those spaces with a smaller 202 kit >>
And, for the love of low bills, share the knowledge, and the savings!
Happy fall preparations, everyone!
