Vented VS Unvented Attics

Someone started a horrible rumor that unvented attics are bad…that they melt shingles off roofs. That is ridiculous and proven inaccurate. More than 15 years ago, large scale testing proved that at most, an unvented attic is 7 degrees higher than a vented attic.
